The Program cares about the residents.
We understand rest and personal time are important. You will work no more than 50 hours per week on the average, you will always be relieved for didactic sessions and leave work by 5PM.
If you choose to get your medical care on campus, it is available on demand – the Internal Medicine Practice group commits to seeing you right away.
The Employee Assistance Program is quite comprehensive and its services are free – you can find a dog walker or a nearby Reiki therapist, and more.
The Department sponsors two annual dinner dance parties; a Holiday party and a Graduation party; they are lots of fun and a great bonding opportunity, especially for the newly Matched residents who are invited to the Graduation party, this academic year - on June 10th, 2023. In addition, we have Departmental Baby Showers, Welcome and Good Bye lunches, some Birthday celebrations and after work, informal gatherings at the local brewery and White Plains bars.
When we find ways to help your finances, we share the information.
